Quantitative Constraints on Surface Erosion via Admittance Localization for Arabia

چکیده
Introduction: Arabia Terra, with an area of ~1x10 km [1] centered at (25E, 5N), is an anomalous region along the Martian dichotomy. Traditionally considered part of the ancient southern highlands, Arabia Terra is a transitional province between the southern highlands and northern lowlands in both topography [2] (Fig. 1) and crustal thickness [3]. While the geological processes leading to the formation of the region have not been clearly identified [2,3], Arabia Terra contains numerous morphological indicators suggestive of surface erosion, including isolated mesas interpreted as erosional inliers and partially degraded craters [1]. While surface modification has been suggested for the entirety of the highlands [4], the anomalous nature of Arabia and its geomorphology may indicate preferential modification of the region. The amount of erosion may have generated a significant volume of sediment, possibly contributing to the resurfacing of the northern lowlands.

Linkage factors optimization of Multi-outputs of compliant mechanism using Response Surface
This paper presents a linkage factors synthesis and multi-level optimization technique for bi-stable compliant mechanism. The linkage synthesis problem is modeled as multiple level factors and responses optimization problem with constraints. The bi-stable compliant mechanism is modeled as a crank slider mechanism using pseudo-rigid-body model (PRBM). The model exerts the large deflection of fle...
متن کاملInvestigating the Effect of Land Use and Soil’s Physio-chemical properties on Wind Erosion Threshold Velocities via Data Mining
Introduction: Wind erosion is a phenomenon that causes severe environmental changes in arid and semi-arid climates. As surface soil texture is very effective in soil erodibility, identifying soil erodibility index is important and efficient. Mismanagement greatly contributes to the development of wind erosion. The velocity that makes the first particles of soil move from the surface is called t...

Introduction: FDG Brain PET is a valuable paraclinical tool for presurgical assessments of patients suffering from refractory epilepsy. By the widespread accessibility of PET, recognizing the functional lesions has become a current practical method especially in preoperative evaluations of the partial epilepsy disorders. The aim of our study was to assess the impact of quantit...

متن کاملThe Effect of Change in Land Use on the indicators of Ecosystem Function and Soil Erosion via Landscape Function Analysis Method (LFA)
1- INTRODUCTION Over the past few decades, the objective of the evaluation and monitoring of the optimal utilization of sustainable natural resource services and ecosystem performance has been the successor to the ecosystem structure. Tongway and Hindley introduced a Landscape Function Analysis (LFA) method in 2004 to evaluate the ecosystem Function. In the new method, soil is considered as th...
